- Email Notifications
There are two main types of email notifications that you'll receive from WordPress.com. You may want to designate a different email addresses for each of these. - Email Address
The email address registered with your WordPress.com account is your unique identifier. You will notice that when you sign up, we do not require any other information. As such, this is how we are able to verify ownership of blogs and accounts; it is very important to remember and update it as necessary.

We don't recommend creating email links because spammers often use scripts to scrape web sites looking for email addresses. If you create email links, you may see an increase in spam. We recommend using a contact form instead.
