Audio » Spotify
Spotify is a digital music service that gives you access to millions of songs. Think of Spotify as your new music collection. Your library. Only this time your collection is vast: millions of tracks and counting. Spotify comes in all shapes and sizes, available for your PC, Mac, home audio system, and mobile phone. Wherever you go, your music follows you.
Embedding with a URL
To quickly embed music from Spotify, simply copy the embed link from Spotify. You can get the embed link by right-clicking on any song, album, or artist in Spotify and selecting Copy HTTP Link or Copy Spotify URI.

Once you have the embed link simply paste it on a line by itself in your post/page editor.

We take care of the rest! The embed will look something like this.
Embedding with a shortcode
You can also embed music from Spotify using a shortcode. First you need to get the Spotify embed link by right-clicking on any song, album, or artist in Spotify and selecting Copy HTTP Link or Copy Spotify URI.

Then create a shortcode using the format below. Be sure to replace the URL listed here with the URL of your audio, and the code is on a line by itself.

Troubleshooting
- Make sure the Spotify URL is not hyperlinked. If the URL is shown in your theme’s link color (as the second line in the screenshot below), then it is hyperlinked. Simply select the whole link and click the Unlink icon on your Visual Editor toolbar.

Once the URL is unlinked, you will see the link text in black. - Make sure to place the Spotify URL or shortcode on its own line. This means there should be no character or whitespace before or after the URL/shortcode.
