When you hover over a comment in the administration screens, the comment actions will appear. If you are hovering over a comment in the Recent Comments module on the Dashboard, see documentation about the Recent Comments module. If you are looking at the Comments screen or the post/page Discussion module, it will look similar to the following image:

• The first action link will either be Approve or Unapprove. If the link says Approve, clicking on it will make the comment visible to readers of your blog. Unapprove does just the opposite. 
• If you click on Spam, the comment will be sent into the spam queue. 
• The Delete link will instantly delete the comment. If you delete the comment, you can’t get it back. 
• Clicking Edit will load the Edit Comment Screen. You can edit any of the comment data as well as change the status of the comment. After you have made your changes, click the Update Comment button.

• If you click on Quick Edit, the comment will turn into a comment edit form and you can edit the comment without going to another screen.

• If you click Reply, a form will load allowing you to reply with a comment of your own without having to leave your administration screen.
