Cancel Domain
You may completely cancel a domain name purchased through WordPress.com if you notify us within two days of purchase. The domain may take up to 48 hours to be returned to the public so someone can register it again. If you cancel a domain name registration after two days, you will not be able to keep ownership of the domain name or register it somewhere else.
Use Other Web Hosting
The Name Servers for your domain control where traffic for the domain goes. If your domain was registered through WordPress.com, you may change the Name Servers to point to another web hosting provider at any time. Please see the Update Name Servers section of the Domain Management help page for detailed instructions.
Transfer a to Another Registrar
If you would like to completely transfer your domain to another registrar, you must wait 60 days from the original purchase date. This is standard across all registrars. It is a rule set by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). See the Transfer to Another Registrar section of the Domain Management help page for detailed instructions.
