Embedding content, Shortcodes

Getty Images

WordPress.com users can access and share award-winning photographs from Getty Images on their sites by simply including the embed code or adding an image URL.

To use the embed code, you can grab it directly from the Getty Images website. Just hover over the image, click on the embed icon “</>”:

Copy the embed code into a new post:

When you save your draft or publish, the selected image will appear:

Alternatively, instead of the embed code, you can use the image URL from Getty Images and copy that directly in a post:

All embedded images are automatically attributed, and include the photographer’s name as well as the collection from which the image came. The image will link back to its page on the Getty Images website.

Please note: It is not possible to change the size of embedded Getty Images on your site. If you would like to access and publish a different file size, you’ll need to license the image.

Additionally, while Getty Images can be added in the body of your Post and Pages, they cannot be utilized as your Featured Images.
