Plinky: A Tool for Writer’s Block

Related
Each weekday, Plinky.com provides a prompt — usually a question, or a request like “describe your favorite vacation” — and you type in an answer. Plinky is great for those days when you want to write, but have no idea what to say. Think of it as a way to fuel your creative mojo. Best of all: It’s really easy to share your answers on your WordPress.com blog.
Getting Started with Plinky
First, you need to set up an account on Plinky.com.

Then, head on over to the services page and once there click on the Add Service button.

Select WordPress.com from the dropdown list and enter your WordPress.com username and password.

If you have more than one blog you will be prompted to pick which one you want to add to Plinky. You can add as many WordPress.com blogs as you like.

Start Answering Prompts
If you go to the Plinky homepage you will see the most recent prompt. You can answer that one, or use the arrows to scroll through older prompts. You can answer as many or as few prompts as you like, at any time. On some prompts, you may be asked to add a photo — you can upload your own, or request that Plinky find one for you.
This is what a typical prompt looks like.

Don’t forget to click the Answer button when you are done answering the prompt.
Sharing on WordPress.com
Since you’ve already added WordPress.com as an accepted service, the next step is simple. Click Share to post your answer to your blog.

Doing so will automatically update your blog and you can view and edit the post right away. We recommend adding the tag “Plinky” to your post, so WordPress.com users can see all your great Plinky answers on our Plinky tag page.
