Press This is a bookmarklet: a little app that runs in your browser and lets you grab bits and pieces of the web and post them to your WordPress.com blog. Use Press This to clip text, images and videos from any web page and add them to your blog.

To get started with Press This, go to the Tools section of your dashboard and drag the “Press This” link to the bookmarks/favorites area of your web browser .

After you’ve completed that step, click on the Press This link in your browser when you’re surfing the web and see something you’d like to blog about.

Press This will appear in a pop-up window, with options to post quotes, images or even videos without having to visit your blog. If you have multiple blogs, you will also have a drop-down menu to choose which blog where you would like to publish the content.

Click the picture frame icon to see a selection of images on that page. Select the one you like, and click the HTML tab to edit. For videos, click the filmstrip icon.

When you’re done, you can click Save Draft or Publish to add the post to your blog.
