Adding Storage Space
All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images.
The WordPress.com Premium plan includes another 10GB of extra storage, for a total of 13GB.
The WordPress.com Business includes infinite storage space, so you have no storage limit at all.
Both plans also allow you to upload video, music and zip files in addition to images. You cannot upload video, audio files or music without one of these plans.

What kind of files can I upload?
Free blogs can upload images (jpg, jpeg, png, gif), documents (pdf, doc, docx, odt), presentations (ppt, pptx, pps, ppsx) and spreadsheets (xls, xlsx).
In addition to those file types, blogs with the WordPress.com Premium or WordPress.com Business plan can also upload audio (mp3, m4a, wav, ogg) and zip files, as well as videos (mp4, m4v, mov, wmv, avi, mpg, ogv, 3gp, 3g2).
Does the Space Upgrade apply to all my blogs, or just one?
Each plan applies only to the blog it was added to.
Is there a limit on transfers, bandwidth, or downloads?

What happens to my files if I cancel my plan?
You will not be able to upload any new files until you resubscribe to the plan. Files that you have already uploaded will remain accessible.
How do I upload files?
Visit the Posts → Add New (or Pages → Add New) of your dashboard, and click on the Add Media icon. Here are some step-by-step instructions.
How do I know how much space I have remaining?
You can review how much space you have remaining from Media → Library in your blog’s dashboard.
How do I remove files?
Visit the Media Library of your dashboard. Hover your mouse over a file to receive your options; then, click the Delete Permanently link to remove it. Note: files that are deleted cannot be recovered, so choose wisely.
Are there other options for uploading files besides the Space Upgrade?
If you have run out of space or would like to upload other types of files, some alternative options are:
- Use an external content hosting service such as Flickr or YouTube, and link to or embed your remote images and videos.
- Upload to a dedicated file hosting or file sharing service.
- Remove some of your existing files to make room for new ones.
Can I cancel my plan?
If for whatever reason you’re not happy, you can cancel your plan within 30 days and get a full refund from the My Upgrades page.
