Widgets » Meebo Widget
The Meebo Widget lets you chat with your blog visitors without revealing your instant messenger user name. Meebo even integrates with AIM, Facebook, and a variety of other services.
Here’s an example of what it looks like when it’s activated on a blog sidebar (the appearance varies depending on whether or not you’re online):

Once you add the widget to your sidebar from Appearance -> Widgets, you’ll see that the widget settings look like this:

You’ll need to click go get some HTML code to activate the widget. This will take you to Meebo’s site and present you with a page similar to what you see below. Note that if you want to keep your instant messaging user name private, be sure to choose a Meebo display name that’s different from the one you use on your preferred chat client.

When you’re done designing your widget and signing up with Meebo, click Next, copy the code and paste it into your widget.
Now, anytime you’re logged on to Meebo, your readers will see that you’re online and have the option to start a conversation with you via instant message.
