The recent comments widget will display the most up-to-date comments left on your blog, regardless of which post they came from.

Title
Set the title that will display above the recent comments area in your sidebar.

Number of comments to show
How many of the recent comments you would like the widget to display. The most you can show is 15.

Avatar size (px)
Set the size of the avatars to show or don’t show avatars at all. (Avatars must be set to display in the Discussion Settings for this to work)

Avatar background color
Background color to use for the avatars.

Text background color
Background color to use for the text.
