The SocialVibe Widget provides an easy way to use your blog to help raise money for a charity of your choice.
Each time you or one of your readers completes a sponsored online activity, they’ll be helping to fund the cause you support. Participation is completely free.
Here’s an example of what it looks like:
Activating the SocialVibe Widget
After you add the widget to your sidebar from Appearance -> Widgets, you’ll have the option to choose a charity. Hover your cursor over the logo to learn more about the organization. Once you’ve made a decision, click the logo to support that cause.
Next, you’ll see a screen like the one below. If you decide to support a different charity, click Change Cause. Click Customize Badge if you want to change the color of widget border. Click Save when you’re done.
Your badge will now appear in the sidebar of your blog. Anyone who clicks “Click Here to Help for Free” will be given the opportunity to complete an online activity and help you raise money for your cause.
