When you visit the WordPress.com home page, you can get started with posting, reading, and finding new blogs without needing to navigate to your Dashboard.
Navigating the Home Page
At the top of the WordPress.com home page, you will see six tabs when logged into your WordPress.com account.

These include:
- New Post
- Reader
- Notifications
- Stats
- My Blogs
- Freshly Pressed
Your browser will automatically remember the tab you were viewing when you visited WordPress.com last. Neat!
New Post

By clicking on the New Post tab, you can publish a post to any of your blogs without leaving the WordPress.com homepage. Just type your entry into the text box and hit the Publish Post button in the lower right-hand corner of the page. You can also share a new picture, video, quote, or link directly from this page as well.
If you’d like to change the blog that you’re posting to, you can do so by clicking on the drop-down menu where your blog title appears and clicking on the blog that you want to post to.

Reader

Your WordPress.com Reader allows you to stay up to date on all of your favorite blogs by keeping them together in one place. You can learn more about the Reader, how to change your Reader settings, and other great features here.
Notifications
In case you like to browse back through older notifications, we built a page that lets you do that. Just go to the WordPress.com Notifications panel and scroll to your heart’s content. Are you proud of a certain achievement from last month? Relive old glories as often as you like.

Stats
To see your site stats and page views, click on the Stats tab on your WordPress.com home page. Here, you’ll be able to view your page hits, where your visitors are from, referral links, and much more. You can learn about the features included in WordPress.com Stats here.

My Blogs
Via your My Blogs tab, you can keep track of all of the blogs on your WordPress.com account. You can also register a new blog to your account by clicking on the Create a New Blog link at the bottom of the page.

Freshly Pressed
Freshly Pressed is where the WordPress.com staff shares some of their favorite blogs of the day via the WordPress.com home page. It’s an excellent place to find new blogs to read, interesting posts, or topics for inspiration. You can even start following a particular Topic, such as “Humor,” from the Freshly Pressed tab by clicking on the topic button below one of the posts.
