The My Upgrades page gives you a way to manage all your upgrades across WordPress.com in one, convenient place. You can access the My Upgrades page by going to Store -> My Upgrades in your blog’s dashboard.
On this page you’ll find a list of the upgrades purchased for the site you are currently on, followed by lists of the upgrades you have on your other WordPress.com sites (if any).
As you can see, the status of each upgrade and its expiration date are clearly displayed, with some handy color-coding.
- One-time purchases (premium themes) or upgrades currently set to auto-renew are displayed in green.
- Upgrades which need to be renewed manually are displayed in orange.
- When upgrades that need to be renewed manually get close to their expiration date,
they are displayed in red.
If you want to transfer an upgrade from one site to another you can do so on the My Upgrades page. Underneath each upgrade is a “Transfer to another site” button.
After pressing the “Transfer to another site” button a dialog box will appear that will ask you to confirm that you want to transfer the upgrade. Just select the site you want to transfer the upgrade to, press the “Transfer Product” button and the upgrade will be transferred.
We want you to love everything you do at WordPress.com, so we provide a 30-day refund on all of our upgrades except for Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. The refund period for Guided Transfers ends 30 days after purchase or as soon as your site has been moved, whichever comes first.
You can cancel an upgrade and request a refund (if within the refund period) directly from the My Upgrades page.
Underneath each upgrade on the My Upgrades page you will find a “Cancel” button which when pressed will bring up a dialog box.
On the dialog box you will be able to confirm if you really want to cancel the upgrade and will be told if you you will be receiving a refund. After confirming that you want to cancel the upgrade you will be sent an email with a cancellation confirmation link, your upgrade will not be cancelled until you visit that link.
Note: Please consider providing us with a reason for canceling as it will help us improve our product offerings in the future.
To manually renew a domain, click on the Renew Now button that appears next your domain.
If you’re transferring your domain to a different registrar, but have a Private Registration upgrade, you can make your domain registration public by clicking on Cancel Private Registration button, which will allow you to start the transfer.
If you’d like your domain to renew automatically each year, you can Enable Auto Renew. We’ll send you notification emails before charging your card, however we do automatically renew domains 30 days before their expiration date. Why? Since letting a domain expire means you may not be able to get it back in the future, we want to ensure that everything is taken care of in advance.
Note: If you use a credit or debit card to purchase a domain, Auto Renew will be enabled by default. You can disable Auto Renew at any time on the My Upgrades page.
If you are having trouble with any of your upgrades please contact support and they will be able to assist you further.
