Transferring a Site to Another WordPress.com Account

You can transfer ownership of a site to another WordPress.com account by following the step-by-step instructions below.

The instructions from this guide are referring to the WP Admin dashboard. You can get to this dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (e.g.: example.wordpress.com/wp-admin)

Step 1

Open the My Blogs page. Move your mouse over the site you would like to transfer and click the Transfer Blog link that appears. You will only see the option to transfer a site if you own it.
