Adjusting quantity of blog posts displayed

The Blog Post Listing block allows you to insert a limited number of blog posts (maximum 50 posts) into a post or page.

Please note: the blog posts are not displayed in the editor. However, they will be visible on the published page or post!

To add a Blog Post Listing block, use the Add Block button and either use the search or locate the block in Layout Elements.

You can type /blog and press enter:

Block Toolbar

Each block has its own block-specific controls that allow you to manipulate the block right in the editor. The Blog Post Listing block has very limited controls.

Adjusting quantity of blog posts displayed

When you add a Blog Post Listing block, you can change how many posts are displayed by the block.

You can increase or decrease the amount either directly in the block, or in the block settings to the right. It’s also possible to change the amount of posts displayed, by typing the number!

The maximum number of posts that can be shown is 50. The minimum number is 1,

Block Settings

Every block has specific options in the editor sidebar in addition to the options found in the block toolbar.

If you do not see the sidebar, click the ‘cog’ icon next to the Publish button.

The advanced tab lets you add a CSS class to the Blog Posts Listing block, which can be used to style the posts listing further with custom CSS code.
