Organizing content into lists has just gotten easier.

List Block Overview

To add a list, click on the Add Block button and select the list block. Alternatively, you can use the slash command /list to select the list block.

Block Toolbar

Each block has its own block-specific controls that allow you to manipulate the block right in the editor. 

There are two types of lists, ordered and unordered.

  • Strikethrough

Lists come in two styles, Unordered (bulleted) and Ordered (numbered).

You can use the indent icons in the toolbar to indent your lists:

Lists can also have mixed orderings, such as numbers followed by bullets and vice versa.

List Shorthand

You can add lists by typing a hyphen followed by your list item and then a single press of the Enter/Return key:

The same can be done for numbered lists:

You can turn a set of paragraphs into a list by highlighting the paragraphs and using the Transform icon.

Block Settings

Every block has specific options in the editor sidebar in addition to the options found in the block toolbar. If you do not see the sidebar, simply click the ‘cog’ icon next to the Publish button.

All of the settings for the list block are managed from the block interface toolbar, yet the sidebar settings still offers the advanced setting to add an Additional CSS Class to your list block.
